【学生のみなさんへ】

Students wrote many comments regarding this class. I pushed this class hard, and I feel that they improved as a result. It appears that the students also felt that they improved. A few students might have felt that I gave them too much work. Nonetheless, I would do it again if I were to teach the exact same class again. This year, though, I will have my students focus more on debating. Last year, the focus was on expressing their ideas. This year, I want them to continue expressing their ideas, but I want them to also react quickly to the opinions of others. This year, I will have the same students, so I can do this. They will do half the presentations that they did last year, and they will do more pair and small group work. Students did comment on how they like pair and group work. Once again, the average scores for this class were better than the average of other classes.
