【学生のみなさんへ】

I asked the student to write what class activities they liked the most. Small group and pair work activities were, as I expected, the most popular ones. I will continue to have students express their opinions and personal experiences in small groups. This class was large for a conversation class, and the abilities of students ranged from low to very high. One student is a native speaker. There is no way that I could keep that student interested and challenged without leaving all of the other students behind. I found this class to be my most difficult class because of the extreme range of skills and motivation levels. I am still working on improving my ability to teach such classes.
