【学生のみなさんへ】

Compared to students in the past who have used the current textbook, the student group this year seems to be less knowledgeable about world events and to have smaller vocabularies. There are two students in particular who need to work very hard to pass. I have repeatedly told students that they can visit me in my office for extra help, but the students who really need help do not come for extra help. The students who can easily understand this class often ask me for assistance or conversation practice. My computer is getting old and it is slow, but I want to use it as long as possible. A few times, though, it has been a bit slow, which is, I guess, why my score for number 12 is lower than it usually is. The comments, which you can read below, were all positive. I often think about ways to make high-level topics more accessible for low-level students, and I am making changes in the way that I teach in the second semester. Probably, my evaluations will be even higher next semester. ・This textbook was a little difficult for me.I can not understand unless I study. ・I think this class fit to my level. ・The textbook levels is high a little. ・All the text's topics are interesting. The level of this book is ok. ・I think that almost questions in the textbook are good but some specialty questions are a little difficult for me. ・参加者と仲良くなれたこと。現代の世界や日本についての認識が広がった。 ・英語に触れる機会が増えた。 ・英語スキルの上達。 ・テキストの内容が考えさせられ面白い。
