Psychology, as psychophysics, was developed 130 years ago in Germany. Nowadays, psychological research has progressed and is now linked with other behavioral sciences, and more than 40,000 articles or research papers have been written in this field. In Japan departments of psychology have increased in some universities, but in many countries the field of psychology is more popular.
